Every year, parents browse for the best and most exciting toys to give as presents to their children. With several hundreds of different toys and games on the market, it’s a difficult choice to make. And as they get older the decision seems to get harder. Are they going to be happy with it? Is it worth the price? Will it be useful? These are some of the questions that go through adults minds before deciding what to buy.
Gifts for 8 year old boys
Here are some tips to make your shopping experience much easier, when buying gifts for 8 year old boys and girls :
Look for genuine toys and gifts which have been properly tested by buyers and children age 8. Read independent product reviews and feedback. These will give you insight into what people and children really thought of the toy.
Games and Puzzles
Games and Puzzles are a good idea for this age of kids, but how can you be sure they haven’t already got it – Well the simple answer is you can’t. But if you shop with a reputable retailer, they will be more that happy to exchange the gift if the child already has it.
Science Kits
Another tip is to think about what 8 year olds are into – many love science for example, and as most science kits are aimed at children age 8 and over, it is highly unlikely that they will have been given a science kit before.
Construction Toys
Most 8 year olds are still into building , constructing and making models, so again if you choose a more advanced construction kit, such as a Remote Control Machines Kit or Zoob Alien Creature set, then again the child probably won’t already have it.
Gadgets for Kids
8 year olds love their gadgets – computer, phones, laptop, play stations, X –box etc…. We all know how expensive these are, but not all gadgets will break the bank. We found that 8 year olds love these – sound machines, voice changers, jump rockets and animal poppers – Great gifts for 8 year old girls and boys.
If you have an eight year old, what sorts of gifts would you buy for them?
